There are many sporting opportunities in the school for our children. Every effort is made to make all six strands of the curriculum available to every child.
Hurling
1st to 6th class children take part in hurling lessons. These lessons are given by a coach from the County Board. These lessons take place in Term 1 and Term 3. Luckily, this year, we also have hurling from the Gort Club.
Gaelic Football: 4th to 6th classes take part in Gaelic football lessons also given by a coach from the County Board. These lessons take place in Term 1.
Swimming
2nd to 6th class pupils all attend swimming lessons in term 1.
