Tierneevin N.S. (Scoil Naomh Colmán Mac Duaigh) is a rural school. There are six teachers consisting of four classroom teachers, a learning support teacher and a resource teacher.
There are currently 109 children on roll. We are located in the West of Ireland in County Galway. The beautiful Burren mountains surround the school and it is also situated close to the historic ruins of the Kilmacduagh Monastery and Round Tower. The town of Gort is approximately three miles from the school and it is in the parish of Gort.
- School begins at 9.20am and ends at 2pm for Junior and Senior Infants and at 3pm for all other pupils
